1. INITIAL NUTRITION ASSESSMENT
90-Minute Personalized Assessment
Your nutrition journey starts with a comprehensive 90-minute assessment with a Registered Dietitian.
What to Expect:
Individualized Assessment: We will review your current nutrition intake, physical activity/sport, and any medical conditions or dietary restrictions that may impact your health and performance status. This helps us understand your unique needs.
Goal Setting: Together, we will set realistic and achievable nutrition goals tailored to your lifestyle and sport schedule. Whether you’re looking to manage a health condition, improve sports performance, or simply eat more balanced meals, we’ll create a plan that works for you.
Evidence-Based Guidance: The Sports Dietitian will provide you with science-based recommendations, practical tips, and resources to support your journey toward better health.
Support & Education: You will receive support, education, and tools to help you make sustainable changes, along with the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about nutrition.
Whether you are seeking to manage a health condition, improve performance, or simply enhance your eating habits, this session is a great first step toward your health goals. We look forward to working with you!
During your assessment, your RD will take a closer look at:
Your current eating habits and nutrition patterns
Your activity level, training, and performance needs
Your lifestyle, schedule, and daily routine
Your health and nutrition needs
Your energy, fueling, and recovery needs
Your current goals and priorities
Challenges or barriers affecting your nutrition
YOUR PERSONALIZED NUTRITION PLAN
A Plan Designed Specifically for You
Following your initial assessment, your RD will develop a detailed nutrition plan tailored to your individual needs and goals.
Your plan will consider:
Nutrition and health needs
Training, activity, and performance demands
Energy and fueling requirements
Lifestyle and schedule
Personal preferences
Short- and long-term goals
Your plan may help you optimize performance, improve daily energy, support recovery, build balanced eating habits, or develop a healthier and more sustainable approach to nutrition.
No one-size-fits-all approach. Your plan is built around you.
2. FOLLOW-UP PLAN REVIEW
30-Minute Appointment — In Person or Virtual
Approximately one week after your initial assessment, you'll connect with your RD for a 30-minute follow-up plan review. This appointment can be completed in person or virtually, depending on your preference.
This check-in is an opportunity to:
Review your personalized nutrition plan
Ask questions and clarify recommendations
Discuss how the plan is going
Address any challenges you've encountered
Discuss energy, fueling, recovery, or other concerns
Make adjustments or provide additional guidance as needed
Your RD will help ensure you feel confident and supported as you begin putting your nutrition plan into practice.
3. FOLLOW-UP APPOINTMENT
Check In. Evaluate. Adjust.
After you've had time to implement your nutrition plan, a follow-up appointment allows your RD to evaluate your progress and make adjustments based on your experience.
Together, you'll identify what's working, address challenges, and determine what needs to change moving forward.
Your RD may:
Evaluate your progress
Review your nutrition habits and strategies
Adjust your nutrition plan
Address barriers or challenges
Discuss changes in training, activity, lifestyle, or nutrition needs
Support improvements in energy, fueling, and recovery
Establish new or evolving goals
Your nutrition approach should change as you do. Your RD will adapt your plan to meet your current needs and priorities.
ONGOING FOLLOW-UPS
Nutrition Support as Your Goals Evolve
Your nutrition needs can change over time. As your training, activity, lifestyle, health, and goals evolve, your nutrition plan can evolve with you.
Ongoing follow-up appointments are available as needed to provide continued guidance, support, and adjustments.
Whether you're preparing for a competition, starting a new training program, increasing your activity, navigating a busy lifestyle, working toward a health goal, or simply maintaining healthy habits, your RD can help you stay on track.
Your nutrition plan evolves with you.
