STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACH

Sarah is from Regina, Saskatchewan, where she grew up doing dance, tennis, and downhill skiing.

Sarah holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of Regina and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA-CSCS). She is currently a Master of Science in Kinesiology Candidate at the University of Saskatchewan (in progress).

Sarah's love for being in the gym and wanting to learn how to improve at moving led her to strength and conditioning. Completing an internship at Ignite gave her a positive experience that she wanted to explore further.

As a Strength & Conditioning Coach at Ignite, Sarah works with university and high school athletes, the general population, and beginners. She specializes in and enjoys working with older adults and anyone new to the gym.

Sarah's coaching philosophy focuses on keeping exercises simple, nailing the basics, and finding exercises and movements the client enjoys.

Outside the gym, Sarah is working on her Master of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan, participates in the Ignite Weightlifting group/club, volunteers with dog rescues, and enjoys cooking, baking, and reading (only non-fiction).
