BScKin, CSCS, MScKin, PhD in progress

Parker is from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where he grew up playing hockey and racing motocross before eventually finding a love for football. He went on to play at both the University of Regina and the University of British Columbia as both a running back and a cornerback.

Parker holds a Master of Science in Kinesiology, where he studied isometric strength and its relationship with sprinting and jumping performance. His research has been presented at the NSCA National Conference in Las Vegas, NV and several provincial events. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at the University of Saskatchewan. Parker's credentials include CSCS (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist).

As a Strength & Conditioning Coach at Ignite, Parker works with a wide range of athletes and clients, primarily focusing on the Hilltops football team. He also works with university, post-secondary, and high school athletes, as well as members of the general population. He has a particular passion for working with football players, drawing on his own athletic background and current research to help them improve performance, reduce injury risk, and excel in their sport.

Parker takes an athlete-centred, data-driven approach to training. His coaching emphasizes movement quality and performance transfer, ensuring that every exercise and program directly supports improved sport performance. By combining evidence-based methods with individualized coaching, Parker helps athletes build strong foundations that translate to success in competition and beyond.

Outside of coaching and research, Parker enjoys golfing, travelling, and spending time with his family and girlfriend. He's often exploring new places with his dog, Frankie, and values maintaining an active, balanced lifestyle that reflects the same principles he promotes with his athletes.
