Physiotherapist

Mathew first joined the Ignite family in 2013 as a high school football athlete and continued training there throughout his time with the University of Saskatchewan Huskies Football program from 2017 to 2022. With a long-standing passion for strength training and performance, he has remained closely connected to the Ignite community as both an athlete and clinician.

Mathew holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Master of Physical Therapy, both from the University of Saskatchewan. His practice is centred around manual therapy and active rehabilitation, with growing involvement in sideline sport coverage and athletic performance care.

Since concluding his football career, Mathew has transitioned into competitive powerlifting while maintaining an active lifestyle that includes hiking, canoeing, and cycling.

As a Physiotherapist at Ignite, Mathew is dedicated to helping individuals of all backgrounds improve performance, meet physical demands, and enhance overall quality of life. He is excited to return to Ignite in a professional capacity and looks forward to continuing to develop his clinical practice within a community he has been part of for over a decade.
