REgistered MASSAGE THERAPist // Business & Operations Manager

Kerri grew up in small-town Saskatchewan, where she discovered her passion for track and field at a young age. Specializing in hurdles and high jump throughout high school, she capped off her athletic career by winning the Pentathlon at the 2000 Saskatchewan Summer Games. After hanging up her spikes, she shifted her focus to strength and conditioning, competing as a physique athlete while completing her Massage Therapy diploma.

Massage therapy had played a key role in helping her manage injuries during her track career, and she soon realized she wanted to support others in the same way. Since graduating in 2002, Kerri has practiced in Saskatoon for more than 23 years, including 10 years running her own business. She joined Ignite Athletics in 2016 as a member of the Fit Group, where the programming helped her rebuild her fitness foundation. In 2017, she became part of the Ignite team, offering massage therapy to clients.

As a Registered Massage Therapist at Ignite, Kerri provides massage three days a week, oversees the meal-prep service, and serves as Director of Finance and HR for both Ignite Athletics and Ignite Health. She believes in a holistic approach to wellness, emphasizing the importance of nourishing the body through nutrition, movement, and therapy. She is passionate about living a balanced, healthy lifestyle and brings that philosophy into every treatment.

Outside the clinic, Kerri enjoys cooking, reading, savouring high-quality coffee, and spending time with her two boys. She has also returned to competition as a Master's Track and Field athlete, specializing in short sprints. She currently holds the Canadian record in the Indoor 50m and 60m sprints for the W40 category, as well as provincial records in the 50m, 60m, 100m, 200m, and Indoor Long Jump. Most recently, she placed 4th in the 60m at the World Masters Athletics Championships in Florida.

Fun Fact: Earlier in her career, Kerri worked with several high-profile clients, providing massage therapy to artists such as Kelly Clarkson, AKON, Dierks Bentley, and Rascal Flatts during their concert stops in Saskatoon.
