Josh was born and raised in Saskatoon, where he participated in multiple sports growing up, including hockey, baseball, football, and golf. After graduating from Aden Bowman Collegiate, he developed a strong interest in exercise science and human movement, leading him to pursue a career in strength and conditioning.
Josh is an honours graduate of the College of Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan. His credentials include CSCS (Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist), Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, and FRC (Functional Range Conditioning).
As a Strength & Conditioning Coach and Business Owner at Ignite, Josh has worked with a diverse range of clients, from professional athletes striving for peak performance to individuals focused on improving their overall health and fitness. He designs and implements evidence-based training programs tailored to the specific needs and goals of each client. He has experience working with professional, university, and high school athletes across a variety of sports.
Josh's passion for athletic performance and human movement has helped many individuals achieve their goals and unlock new performance potential.
Outside the gym, Josh enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Carlin, and their three dogs—Charlie, Bear, and Sammie. They enjoy summers at the lake and travelling to the mountains for camping and snowboarding.
