Joelle grew up in Clavet, Saskatchewan, surrounded by a family deeply rooted in hockey and health. With an older brother and younger sister both competing at high levels in hockey—and siblings pursuing careers in health and rehabilitation—she was immersed in a culture of performance and dedication from an early age. That environment shaped her lifelong passion for sport, movement, and personal growth.
Joelle went on to play for the Saskatoon Stars before earning an athletic scholarship to NCAA Division I Robert Morris University. She completed her Bachelor of Science in 2024 at the University of British Columbia. Throughout her hockey career, she has captured nine championships—a testament to her drive, resilience, and commitment to excellence. She currently competes professionally in Switzerland.
Joelle's coaching philosophy centres on lifelong health, performance, and personal growth. Known for her strong work ethic, optimism, and openness, she values connection and continuous learning, and is passionate about inspiring others to pursue their own potential.
Outside the gym, Joelle stays active through her professional hockey career and enjoys exploring new growth opportunities both on and off the ice.
