STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACH

Chopper was born and raised in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, where he grew up immersed in a wide variety of sports from an early age. Although he enjoyed competing in many different activities, football quickly became his true passion. After attending a Saskatchewan Roughriders game as a child, he knew football was the sport he wanted to pursue. Once he put the pads on for the first time, he never looked back.

Following high school, Chopper continued his football journey in the Canadian Junior Football League with the Edmonton Wildcats. His time in junior football helped prepare him for the next level, and he later signed with the University of Regina to continue both his athletic and academic career. Initially pursuing an Education degree, Chopper discovered a growing interest in human performance, movement, and athlete development during his first year of university, leading him to transition into Kinesiology.

In his final year of school, Chopper completed a fieldwork placement with Ignite Athletics under the mentorship of Joel Lipinski. That experience further solidified his passion for coaching and performance training. He is currently completing his final semester of classes and plans to pursue his CSCS certification as he continues helping athletes develop both on and off the field.

Chopper’s coaching philosophy is rooted in hard work, consistency, and long-term athletic development. Drawing from his own experiences as a football player, he values discipline, resilience, and creating an environment where athletes feel supported while being challenged to reach their full potential.

Outside the gym, Chopper continues to stay active through training, football, and spending time around sport and performance environments that encourage ongoing growth and learning.
